FAQS:

How do I apply for a scholarship and what does the application process consist of?

An initial application becomes available on our website in October each year.  If you meet the eligibility requirements at the time, you may apply by submitting a completed application packet to the Miss Mattie Foundation board by the February deadline.  The application asks for you to list your grades, school and community activities, and employment, as well as a short essay on your involvement in your community and financial need.  Two letters of recommendation and official transcripts must be submitted along with the application.  The Foundation board will then select five individuals that will be awarded scholarships for the year.
